I just called Kimberly Lightford's district office (I couldn't get through to her Springfield office) - she is my state senator.

The woman I spoke to in the district office was very nice and said that they have been getting many, many calls on this topic. All the calls this woman had taken were opposed and she said that they callers were all polite. She also said that I was the first person who is not personally home schooling to call.

I would suggest that homeschoolers try to motivate their friends and family to call and that they make clear that they are not homeschoolers but that they still oppose this bill.
