One Week - One Thousand Dollars Update

Just a quick reminder, our on-line fundraiser is still going on:

I'm looking for contributions of just $10. We're asking our on-line pro-life friends to help make a difference. And believe me, $10 right now can really make a difference. If you can't afford $10 comfortably, make it $5.

Here's the donation button (if you can't see it, click the logo above to go to the campaign website and you'll see it there. Or send a check to: Committee to Elect Paul Mitchell, P.O. Box 153, Grayslake, IL 60030):

It's time to chip in, folks. My opponent has already spent more money just on opposition research than what I've raised so far. But with your help, I can beat her.

Mailed my contribution yesterday - so you'll probably see it tomorrow.

Spend it wisely!

Thanks Larry! You're the best!

I'll send a few bucks your way as soon as I get my unfortunately delayed paycheck!

I have to admit that although I have serious disagreements with people like Grover Norquist, having someone out there speaking up about the life issues, and doing something to change our sorry Illinois political culture instead of just complaining about it, is far more important.

You will be the first candidate I have ever given a single dollar to in my entire life. It's the least I can do since I don't live in your district and can't vote for you!

You honor me beyond my ability to express. Thank you!

I'll send you something next pay too, unless the Sweet Husband objects. :-)

...and the long-since-missing-in-action Paladin will scrape together what he can, soon!

Sorry about the long absence: one day of no phone service, followed by both of our computers crashing (I'm still picking up the pieces on that), followed by a wonderful and much-needed 3-day silent retreat at a Cistercian monastery, followed by an online Calculus II refresher course (I'm slogging through that as we speak), and it made for a lack of opportunities to write/comment. (I'm also trying to be more helpful around the house... yeah, that. :) )

I'll try to chime in when I can... but it may be rather sparse. God bless your run for office, Paul!

Typical. Can't do PayPal and I doubt you would be able to cash a Scottish check!
