A murder investigation has been opened involving Shelley Sella, a California abortionist employed by George Tiller, who is reported to have intentionally stabbed to death an infant born alive during an abortion at Tiller’s Women’s Health Care Services abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas. As I've said before, in the abortion industry, it's not about "choice"; it's not about "rights", it's not about "freedom", and it's certainly not about private decisions made "between a woman and her doctor". It's all about the killing. It's about death, pure and simple. And if they cannot inflict death inside the womb, they'll settle for doing so outside.
...
"...the baby was 35 weeks gestation at the time of the abortion. The baby came out and was moving. Sella looked up at Ms. Davis, then picked up a utensil and stabbed the baby in the left ribcage, twisting the utensil until the baby quit moving. At 35 weeks, there is no doubt about viability. This is murder in anybody’s book.”
You see, they really do understand that whether the child has been born is irrelevant; a mere geographical distinction. Whether the child has been born makes no moral or ethical difference about whether it's OK to kill the child. In the abortion industry, it's OK to kill the child; therefore, it's OK to kill the child. Wherever she is.
This is what Barack Obama supports. This is what "Catholic Democrats" and "Catholics for Obama" are working to protect.
This is the abortion culture.

How did Obama get this far? I knew he was a total jerk before he even ran for the US Senate. I still have trouble understanding why people can't see past his facade. Do people believe everything they read in the secular media? I would like to think that most people are smarter than that.
jean m. heimann, remember that this is the same country that elected Jimmy Carter to the office of President. After that it becomes a whole lot easier to see why Obama will win in November.
Politicians often think the voters are idiots. Given the way they keep their jobs, I must admit they have a point.
Actually, we're not idiots - just ignorant. We don't really have time to learn all the issues, we're too busy with families and jobs - areas where we can make a difference individually. That's the reason a few sound-bites and well sounding opinions will usually get one elected.
2008 is the first election I'm eligible to vote as a US citizen. I am scared to do it. Last time I voted (in Israel) it was in favor of policies that turned out to have been a disaster.
Don't be scared, Ori!
"Do right, and fear no man."
I find that if I vote for the most pro-life candidate, they're usually going to be pretty much right on pretty much the rest of the issues as well.
"Do right, and fear no man." sounds great, but it requires you know what is right. In my personal life I know enough to make those judgments. When it comes to politics I am not. I honestly thought the Oslo Accords were a good idea on both moral and practical ground.
Then again, Texas isn't really in play. I can compare McCain, the LP, the CP, see which one I object to the least and vote for that one - secure in my knowledge that my state electors are going to vote McCain regardless of what I do.
