Odds are that if you read my blog on a regular basis, you probably read most of the same blogs I do. But in case you don't, perhaps you'd like a recommendation of some other source of interesting reading.
Taking a look at the Blogroll...
Out of respect for their office (the great St. Francis of Asissi, a Deacon, refused to be ordained to the Priesthood because he always said he wasn't worthy of it), I've put the blogs of priests at the top of the blogroll.
At the top, we find my favorite blog by a priest, Bonfire of the Vanities, by Fr. Martin Fox. The pastor of two parishes in Ohio, Fr. Fox gives an inside view of the day-to-day life of a priest, some excellent homilies, and some very insightful political commentary.
Next, we have Shouts in the Piazza (formerly by Fr. Guy, but now by an anonymous group called only "The Team") which I love for all the beautiful heraldic art they put up there. As an SCA herald for many years, I love good heraldry.
Next we have Fr. Erik Richtsteig's highly entertaining Orthometer blog. Fr. Erik certainly comes off much more like a regular guy than any priest I've encountered; and I mean that in the best possible way.
One I just ran across is Young Fogeys by Fr. Jay Toborowsky, in New Jersey. I think it has a lot of potential.
What Does The Prayer Really Say, by Fr. John Zuhlsdorf, features Fr. Z's literal translations of the prayers found in the litugy. There's not better way to learn how desperately we need that corrected version of the missal coming down next year. Some pretty interesting debates go on in his comboxes, too. And, living in Rome, Fr. Z is able to pass one some interesting rumors from time to time.
(Why do all these great priests have to live so far from me?)
The Off The Record blog at Catholic World News features the highly quotable Diogenes and his unique and clever insights into the fallacies of the enemies of truth and honesty, and their attacks on the Church.
My oldest and best bloggin' buddy is Jay Anderson, who writes Pro Ecclesia * Pro Familia * Pro Civitate. Jay always links to interesting stuff, but his best pieces are when he takes the time to add his own commentary. I particularly enjoy his Scottish history posts, but his perspectives on issues of law, politics, culture and faith are really why I read enjoy his blog so much. Just be careful you don't go blind when you're hoping of a picture of Andriana Lima in a bathing suit, and get one of Teddy Kennedy in a bathing suit instead.
And then we come to the dearly-beloved and ever-controversial Lair of the Catholic Cavemen. Nominally a team blog, it's primarily the work of one gung-ho, can-do, highly devout Catholic Marine who goes by the moniker of "Vir Speluncae Catholicus" (literally, "Catholic Man of the Cave", or just, "Catholic Caveman"). Like a good Marine, Cavey pulls no punches, and has no hesitation about calling a spade a "maggot-ridden shit-slinger". Adult language and situations abound, but if you think that the Church is in a golden age, perhaps you'd benefit from a different perspective. Love him or hate him, I think that, as Chesterton might say of him, his heart is in the right place."
Next we have the entertaining and clever Curt Jester blog, by Jeff Miller. It's not conceivable that you're reading my blog without having heard of his award-winning site, but just in case you haven't, be sure to check him out.
A different outlook from a true lady can be found at the Ramblings of a GOP Soccer Mom blog, by Christine. Like any good blogger, she seems to just put up what interests her at the moment, what catches her eye, or what she feels requires her comment. Definitely worth a read.
I don't really know why Rich Leonardi calls his blog Ten Reasons, but if you check it out, I'm sure you'll quickly come up with ten reasons to keep coming back.
Next, the first of the very few non-Catholic blogs on the list, The Unseen Blogger. The Unseen One is an evangelical Protestant, but entertains a variety of viewpoints among his readers. His posts are often entertaining, and he has some great points.
More to come... sometime. I have nice things to say about lots more blogs.

Thanks for the kind words, Paul. As you know, I'm a huge fan of your excellent blog, as well. Keep up the straight-shooting.
Thanks for the boost!
Love him or hate him...
WHAT??!! Paul, everybody loves The Caveman!!! *at least that's what I keep telling myself!*
Thanks for the plug, bro!!
Paul,
Thanks for the praise. "Ten Reasons" -- Decem Rationes -- is the name of a tract written by St. Edmund Campion, my blog's patron.
Thanks for the kind words and for putting me into such great company!
