Opening the piece shows a picture of a woman sitting on the floor, hiding her face, under the headline "She never had a choice... ...and David McSweeney won't give her one now."
It goes on to describe how terrible it is that David McSweeney believes that rape victims shouldn't be able to kill their children, and warns: "McSweeney would fight to overturn Roe vs. Wade."
Bean is making this stuff look easy. Let me try:

Melissa Bean opposes a child's right to life, especially in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother's health is at risk.
She has a human mommy and daddy, and unique human DNA. She has a long family history, and she has the potential to grow and have babies of her own. She ingests nutrients, excretes waste, feels pain, and has already started learning. She is a zygote, a discrete human life, and she can be legally killed for any reason or no reason, by the most cruel means imaginable.Bean would fight to protect Roe vs. Wade.
She even supports embryo-destroying stem cell research.She doesn't consider as people the innocent human lives that are cruelly destroyed.
After all, they're not her life.

Yeah, when whatsername was running against Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, she ran an ad showing a woman being attacked by a horrible man in a ski mask late at night... and said how Bob Casey wanted to deny her "choice."
She'd still have the choice to report the rape or not, to testify or not, to go to rape crisis counseling or try to cope on her own. She'd have the choice, should she become pregnant, to parent or make an adoption plan.
And she'd still have all her other choices that we take for granted: where to live, who to live with, what career to pursue, what car if any to drive, etc.
Look at a person living in an institution for the mentally ill or developmentally disabled if you want to see people denied CHOICE. They can't choose who to live with, what time to get up, what to eat for breakfast, or even most of the time what to wear. Shave or grow a beard? That choice is made for the men by other people. Long or short haircut? That choice is made for the women by other people. (The men all get short haircuts.)
They can't choose when to watch TV, when to play cards, when to just lay around in bed on a rainy day.
ONE FREAKING CHOICE -- the one to kill an innocent person -- is being scaled back, and they act as if the very capacity to make decisions -- as if free will itself -- is being taken away.
The only CHOICE they give a rat's ass about is abortion. Nothing else counts as a choice at all.
Easy for you to say. You aren't a victim of rape. You aren't pregnant with a child of violence. You don't have nine months of reliving the situation as you watch your body grow larger. There are too many unwanted children in this world. If you're so against abortion, why aren't you down at the local abortion clinic to take in a pregnant woman and after she gives birth you can adopt the child? Or is this just another 4exqmple of a bifot shoot off his big mouth in an effort to keep women in their place. You talk a good game but your actions say you don't really give a damn about an unborn baby. Niow post this if you dare.
Easy for you to say. No one is bathing you in acid. No one is cutting your arms and legs off. No one is delivering you 90% of the way and then piercing your skull and sucking your brains out. No one is injecting you with the drugs that are used to execute murderers.
Blaming the rapist father is just a way for you to pretend you care about women when it's only about the killing, you selfish bloodthirsty baby-killing bitch.
